What is a forced wipe?
Facepunch releases a game update on the first Thursday of every month. That update changes how worlds are generated, so every server has to start a new map the moment it goes live. That's the forced wipe — sometimes called the force wipe — and it's the one wipe no server can skip.
What happens on TetherRust?
All TetherRust servers full wipe as soon as the update drops: a fresh map, all blueprints reset, and every inventory empty. Everyone starts on equal footing with a rock and a torch.
After that, each server goes back to its normal schedule. Check the server browser for the next wipe on any server.
